hey guys

maybe you can help me out - it'd like to set up a faq-type thread about all things expression pedal-related, from "how they work" to who makes good pedals to DIY/"how it's made"-type info.

anything you guys can add will be great. i did a search on the topic but i didn't find too much collected in any one spot, and i think this subject warrants a "collection" thread.

here's a thread that's got some pretty good info on the topic :

CV control, Expression input, LFO and a bunch of other electronic stuff I don't get! - posts 2, 8 and 20 are particularly good.

here's a great thread on the particular requirements of moog pedals, and some DIY stuff :

Moogerfooger CV question.

Not exactly an expression pedal, but a volume one. But these videos show a good way to build the case for an expression/volume pedal.
