Expression Pedals in Knob Form

Sign in to disble this ad
For what I have planned for my Bass MuRF,...I really intend to have it up on an KB stand (with a MicroKORG) so that I can "play" it with out having to bend over. I like being able to control the LFO with the expression pedal but in the interest of saving space,...

~Is there; either already manufactured or in DIY form, a treadleless expression pedal,...basically and enclosure with a knob (CV?) that I can use to control the LFO with my fingers instead of my feet.

I think it's kinda dumb that Moog didn't put a knob on the MuRF to control the LFO sweep.

I would imagine so!

Shoot Dan an email. He's a super guy to deal with and will gladly customize anything about it that would work better for you.

I should hopefully have a package arriving from him soon!
(patience patience patience patience patience....)

I was just thinking about start this exact thread.
Similar situation, I want to control the Freq of the Moog Freqbox with a little more fine control, for tuning in drones. It would probably be on a table top so I want a big knob with lots of travel, maybe even a few times around. I can build it myself pretty easily, it's just a matter of getting a pot with a long enough travel... is there a name for a pot like that?

Hmmm that might be cool,....I'm more interested in setting the LFO at a certain sweep (if that's the right term) and this seems to be more of a momentary thing. Again,....you can only control the LFO on the MF-105B with and EXP pedal (or apparently the control processor which is the price of a moogerfooger). That just seems to be an oversight that Moog didn't include an on-board control for that.
