P-Nut uses a BDDI. Here's his board from 311's current tour:

Geddy Lee has been using the rackmount version RBI since around 2003. Try "Snakes and Arrows" for example...

Tchad Blake used to use various Sansamp pedals on a lot of his recordings, with his "go-to" being the Sansamp Classic.

He's worked with Elvis Costello, Peter Gabriel, Pearl Jam, Tom Waits, and a ton of others. One of the very best and most ground-breaking engineer/producers out there.

For the most part, he has used the sansamp on just about everything else you could think of, including syth, vocals, saxophone (yes, that's not a misprint) and especially on kick drum. I read a quote of his where he literally said "Always on bass. Haven't recorded a bass amp in 15 years."

Typically, he will use it in the mixing stage instead of re-amping a track. Using just a little bit of fuzz from the sansamp and blending just a little of the fuzz track in with the unaffected track is one of his trademark "secrets" that's not really a secret.

These two are notorious and established. There are probably a lot others but it's hard to know unless you get the word straight from the engineer.

Jason Newstead has been a heavy tech21 user, especially the BDDI..........Listen to the enhanced ..."and justice for all" tracks, sound like BDDI to me.
