Fasel Inductors

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys.

I ask about the Fasel Inductors that go into the modern CryBaby's. Due to my hate of the 105Q, and the love for the CryBaby 535Q, I'm gonna ask, is it a good idea to install a yellow fasel inductor instead of the standard red? I've heard before about yellow's seeming to be better for bass, and there's only one other topic which did not help. AT ALL.

Can someone help me make a choice?

this isn't going to help but why do you hate the 105q?

I don't like the auto on-off design and I have a few drawbacks with the spring-back design. I'd much rather just buy a 535Q so I can have footswitchability and some adjustment.

interesting. how does the 535 sound on Bass? compared to the 105Q?

i'd be interested in hearing about this as well. i've always wanted a nice wah, i just haven't found any i really like (and that had decent bypass)

From trying it in guitar center, it's got two volumes, a low and a high boost and it's got a Q/Range selector. It's pretty nice sounding. I don't hear it sucking out your lows too bad, and it's got a pretty nice range to it. I'm asking if there are any mods that could model it better for low end.
