Which pedal (that you own) is your favorite and please explain why...
For me...it's my new GR2...I've had a few filters in the past but the quality of the construction, flexibility of the controls and THE SOUND is just buttery smooth delicious!!! |

All hype aside this pedal has a warm, low gain overdrive that just puts a smile on my face. It's very responsive and while it may not be the most flexible dirt pedal, I can coax some fairly different tones out of it by adjusting my bass's preamp. |

Bass Pod XT. It seems like if you spend enough time with it, you can get some good effects out of it. I use it all the time, mostly with it's EQ and amp selector. And in a band setting, any issues I may have with the sound are unnoticeable (to me). |

Filter's easy, Xerograph, Octaver's probably the Aggie Octo, Delay/Chorus/Verb/Time Modulated - M9 for versatility and save spots.
Fuzz.... woof. IE Oxide for all around most accesible tones, Pickle Pie B for easy dial in cutting through'ness, TAFM for Face MELTING.....
so.... nope. couldn't pick a favorite. |

Wah-Wah: Wah-Wah Whale Dunlop 105Q Bass
Envelope Filter: 3 Leaf-Audio Groove Regulator MK I
Tremolo: Watermelon Crawl Make Sounds Loudly Tremolazer
Modulation: Boss BF-2 Flanger
Delay: Boss DD-7 Digital Delay and Strymon El Capistan
Weird/Fun: Pump N Dump Montreal Assembly Wrong Side of Uranus and Electro-Harmonix Polyphonic Octave Generator 2 POG2 |

I usually have it set on a (sort of) chorus-y type sound that is the secret to my synth tones, in conjunction with my octave pedal. It's incredible.

When used wisely, the results are quite impressive. Acoustic guitars sound really warm and full when being processed by the Xciter. I'm a fan.
I don't own a lot of pedals anymore but I really dig the Xciter. I'm considering the option of adding a Sansamp BDDI to my recording chain but the Xciter will probably be here to stay, regardless.

I play most clean for 99% of the songs in church and my EQ pedal is my always-on pedal. It gives my passive pups a small level boost, allows me to tame some of the stranger harmonics and such.
