I traded an [sfx] Micro Thumpinator for an
FEA 2 CH Mixer.
After having experimented with my tube overdrive from my guitar board, I was curious to get that rounded tone for my bass on a permanent basis. My tube overdrive is huge for a pedal, so I needed something smaller, something FET-based. The FEA 2 CH Mixer gives me that and some interesting tone options. I have the Mixed Effect Out and Dry Out running to the mixer. The Growler also blends in the clean.
Now I can blend in the two. Or when I want clean, turn off the Growler and just have the FET-enhanced sound of my fretless. It's all good.
