Glen has been experimenting with different pedal arrangements. So if you are still trying to find a spot for the Growler he may have some suggestions for you. His TB name is buglen and you can PM him with any questions you might have. Quote:

Thanks Arjan. The Netherlands. | The last of this batch of DE-CL’s are shipping this week. The next two batches are going to be Opti-FET’s and then there will be a double batch of the DB-CL’s. If you keep an eye in the classifieds you may be able to find a DE-CL much sooner than waiting for our notification. Quote:

If you really want to get some "uglies" out of it, I would recommend putting it after the overdrive / fuzz and cranking up the settings on the Growler. You'll get some interesting artifacts with that configuration.

If that's the case, and you're using a passive bass, then having the pre-amp boost before the Growler might help to enhance the more subtle settings.

Every time. | About 10 years ago I was on the hunt for an Arion SCH-1 chorus pedal. These things were all the rage back then for having the sound of the Tri-Stereo chorus rack unit. Every time I spotted one on Ebay I had just missed the sale.
So I found an application that would scan a web page for changes and execute a user defined command when it detected a change. Then I wrote a VB app that would dial my pager number with the modem and enter a sequence of numbers to display on my pager. I left the app running in the background on my home PC checking Ebay every 5 mins for that chorus pedal.
A few days later I was at band practice and my pager went off. I jumped on their computer and scored a SCH-1 with a broken battery clip!!! It was mine within 10 mins of the posting!
There must be some newer and less cumbersome ways to do the same thing now. I haven’t had a need since then so I am really not up to date with what is currently available.
Happy new year!

I waited much longer than you will have to wait and it was absolutely worth it hands down the best compressor pedal on the market period.

I just got it at the end of October direct from FEA and it is fantastic....but I just got the DE-CL 10 days ago which fits my style of playing much better....so the Dual Band must go.
Will sell it for $320 shipped.

I was wondering does anyone know if it's alright to leave the pedal engaged then cut the power to my power conditioner or should I keep cutting the pedal off first then cut the power conditioner off I don't know if the sudden surge of power would hurt the pedal ?

Since there is not an of/off switch on the pedal I cannot believe that it matters. I have mine mounted on a pedal board and whenever I am finished I just unplug the pedal board which kills the power from the Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2+ to all the pedals at once.
I do however always make sure I turn off the amp before I kill the power to the pedal board.

Will sell it for $320 shipped. | What do you like better about the DE-CL? I have that coming tomorrow but oscillated between that and the DB-CL for a while. I wish I could try both out on a few gigs. |

Obviously the DB-OCL is more versatile but it also takes more time to dial in. With the DE-Cl, everything just clicked for me and I found the sound almost instantly.
