Feedback loop pedal always on

I'm thinking of getting this, because it looks and sounds fun. It is supposedly a clone of the Death by Audio Sonic Annihilation.

If I have my current effects chain (see my profile) and put them in the loop with the knob all the way down, will the feedback pedal not be feedbacking at all? So basically will I be able to use my effects which will be unchanged by the feedback loop until I turn up the feedback knob?

Thanks.

It seems as though the feedback is always subtly active, even if the knob is fully CCW.

Send them an email and find out!

I'm not sure, but I would guess that it's all or nothing with that design, but as someone's already said, you should e-mail the builder and ask to know for sure. But if you want a pedal that works both as a loop and a feedback loop, you should check out Barge Concepts' VFB pedals. I have one and like it a lot. It's an inspiring piece of gear, and not that expensive either.

Here I will help!

with a fuzz and a wah in a feedback loop you can use the wah as a theremin to play leeds and noises with your foot while you play bass with your bass!

I've been told so before too, and I recently bought a wah. Hence I will have to try that out soon, thanks for the tip! Feedback loopers are such a lot of fun.
