Fender Pt100 problem

I'm getting what sounds like distortion from my Fender pedal tuner

I usually keep it at the beginning of my chain so I tried it at the end but that only slightly helped

Would something like the Behringer BLE100 fix this?

If not what are other options?

try changing the battery?

I don't use a battery with it. I use a Godlyke power supply
