Fender Tone Stack

Does anyone offer the Fender tone stack in a pedal format?

Yes, Tech21, I think it's the Blonde. It's one of their character series. I wouldn't be surprised if Catalinbread or someone else made something similar.

I have a little Fender BXR25 single 10" combo that has a million dollar sound, the same with my Zoom B1 multi effect set on the Fender bassman model.

I'd really like to find "that tone" with a single pedal that would get the tone with any amp. The Blonde may be worth checking out.

If you want to roll your own, this is a great sounding, reasonably compact board: http://sound.westhost.com/project27.htm

There's a thread on my build (in a rack case) here. More clips via the SoundCloud link in my sig, the ones that say 4B.

the wampler black '65 has a fender tone stack. IMO, it's a great pedal and can go from clean to dirty.

There is a Verellen MeatSmoke Pre pedal for sale in the amp classifieds. I believe that is a fender type tone stack. It is one amazing sounding pedal.

That's easy...the boss fmb-1 is a pedal that duplicates a fender type sound. there's also some multi-effects processors that also simulates fender type sounds. the digitech bp355 and the zoom b3 is one of them. perhaps these sound samples should help you out on how they sound. check them out.

http://www.bossus.com/go/vpb-2/

On that link, select bass pedals on the choose a style section. and then select the boss fmb-1 on the alternate set-up section. and below that, there's a rhythm and lead option that lets you hear 2 different demos. and if you like, you can click on the other pedals to hear how they sound with the boss fmb-1.

Digitech bp355

These links are from demos I've made on soundclick to help talkbass members on how certain multi-effects processors sound. if you don't mind multi-effects processors, check out these sound samples and see if any of these multi-effects has the sound you're looking for.

yep, it's pretty close. just the treble cap value is a little lower (330P in the bluetube vs 250p in the fender).
