A few questions (DF-2 and more!)...

Yeah, so. I was playing around with me old ME-50B yesterday, and re-discovered the "sound hold" function of the expression pedal. Aside from some tracking issues, I kind of liked it. Are there any other pedals out there that can do a similar "sound hold" (like if it's based on anything) well?

Also, when I was searching through Boss pedals for somthing similar I came upon the DF-2 SUPER Feedbacker. I get it doesn't do the same thing. If I understand correctly, you just set a pitch for it to feedback at, and it does, yes? Oh, my question there is: "Has anyone used one?" and "Does it not suck?"

Thanks guys,
-Chris

I use DF-2. It does not suck. Its distortion is kind of like a DS-1 only slightly buzzier and more trebly sort of, and the feedback thing sounds really fake unless you are holding a note with it. What I mean is that if you were to just step on and hold it to get the feedback from silence, it sounds lame, but if you hit a note and step on it and let the note ring while the feedback fades in, then it sounds reasonable because I guess the feedback tone and the note are interacting or modulating or something. I had a DS-1 on my board already and used it for solos and noise-rockish freakouts, so when a DF-2 because available to me I was like, "hmm, same thing, only I add a possibly cool feedback function? OK." I imagine it's not worth it for either of the things it does, but if you happen to want both, then go for it.
