Filter a la BMS?

Curious about what other filters allow a start/stop, setting, and speed setting as varied and with as much range as the Bass MicroSynth.

I like this pedal for its filter, let alone its voicing and attack delay.

What would I best replace it with if it goes south on me?

I'm not 100% on this, but the Meatball and its clones (Meat Wad, The Grinder, etc) have an attack and decay setting, plus an expression pedal control over the filter.
I'm drooling over the Barge Concepts The Grinder. If/when I get one, I'll review this feature, as I've owned a BMS before.
But it doesn't do the attack delay to my knowledge.

IIRC, you can set a Chunk Systems Agent 00Funk to do it pretty well.

But those controls don't relate directly to any controls on the BMS. Attack/Decay are both closest to the 'rate' slider, but don't behave like it.

To the thread starter: I haven't seen an envelope filter that offers those sort of controls, and they wouldn't work as precisely as the BMS if the filter was controlled by the envelope anyway.

I like having that super long decay. It's more like a filter sweep than an envelope following filter.

Setting the trigger just right makes all the difference in the world with that pedal for tweaking out those deep phat synth lines.

Guess I'd just get a new XO BMS.
