Finally got me a '70s Tel-Ray Morley PWO. Thank the universe I can stop buying other wahs!

Have a modern Morley Distortion/Wah/Volume ... never really liked it, but my GF got it for me one year for Xmas It also isnt very rugged (something is rattling around inside)

Had a Crybaby bass wah that I didn't entirely hate, but I accidentally plugged it into the wrong voltage off my powerbrick. When the smoke cleared, it no longer worked.

I dunno why they don't make stuff like they used to. This thing is a tank.

What do you like about it?

I have my eye on a Wilson or possibly the Ibanez Weeping Demon. The Ibanez seems like a lot of features for the buck. Have you played either of these?

I'm with you dude! I got my 70s PWF late last year and my wah search has ended.

I used to have a PWB, pretty cool sounding wah, but I didn't like the way it sounded without fuzz or distortion running at the same time.

I've not, but I have a bad history with Ibanez effects and that Demon design doesn't please me. I know, maybe it sounds awesome :-)

The PWO has awesome sweep especially for bass. Even the manual explains to guitar players that the lower end is two octaves below what will effect guitar.

Like anything else I like how it sounds with my rig and what I want to do with it. Truth be told I use wah sparingly and usually with some distortion (fuzz). No I don't play in a metal band :-) yes I am a fan of Cliff Burton.

I have zero experience with Wilson gear.

Also the price was right. It's also very simple no frills and should work for many more years.
