Finished building my new pedal board! (progress pics)

Finally got around to finishing the first of about 5 bass-related projects for this summer, my first pedal board. The pre-made aluminum ones are nice, and seem appropriate for some of the 15+ pedal monsters you guys run, but for the most of us 2-5 pedals is plenty and 69.99 is ridiculous for something i can do myself. And besides, i think "custom" may be my favorite word in the englsh language

Back and sides are maple veneered ply, top slats I scavenged from an old bed slat. A bit of wood glue and screws and it's solid as a rock

(I know your admiring my pro workshop space)

Next up came a Masonite bottom panel to keep the wires all nice and neat, and topped off with 2 liberal coats of Krylon Fusion in Gloss Burgundy

Assembled and ready for some Velcro

And here she is all set up. I know its a little sparse at the moment, but the next two projects on the list are finally assembling the FuzzFace Clone and Effects Loop box i have lying around in pieces.

I like it, it's simple, funtionable and looks good.
Personally I like boards that size, not too small, not too big.
I'm sure you could fit at least 8 pedals on there, and still have alot of room underneath for a power supply ect...
That board will look even more killer when it's all filled up.
Nice job!
