the flaming lips it overtakes me

Love that riff! Not sure exactly what he uses but I get fairly close with a P-Bass and tubescreamer based OD (e.g. Xotic Bass BB, Digitech Bad Monkey, Fulltone Bassdrive, etc).

Uh, If you're going to a Lips show and end up taking pictures, you're doing it wrong.

I have nothing of value to add other than seeing the Flaming Lips live for the first time a few years ago played a huge part in my effects pedal acquisition.
