Basses: Modulus Flea Basses and his Jazz.
FX: Q-Tron, ODB-3, Micro Amp and a Big Muff.
Amps: 3 - 2001RB
Cabs: 3 - 4x10 RBH and 3 - 1x15 RBH
He uses an active DI before his effects, a passive DI after his effects and mics one of the 10" speakers.

The only "debate" I know of is over his old effects, because it's not entirely clear what he used in some older RHCP songs... especially when it comes to envelope filters.
But that doesn't matter now - if any of those old songs are played live, you can expect that he's using something on his board for it now.

On a more serious note... I really don't know that much about Flea's gear. I was just hounded several months back by rabid RHCP fans, simply because I own a 2001RB.
And I never use it for funk.

I don't think Flea ever used a Big Muff, I'm pretty sure it was just the Q-tron, OBD-3, and the Micro Amp. At one time he had the Dunlop 105Q |

I thought the story went something like in his older records he had a Q-tron with a near dead battery in it?

I just remembered that picture was in the old thread so I went and grabbed it. I like his music, but can't say I've ever really looked much further into his board than that photo.

The pic with the 105Q is from the "Off the Map" tour, the one with the Big Muff being the newest incarnation.
He uses the DOD FX25 in the instructional video he did, though I'm not sure if he actually used it that much on records - The only bit I think he could have used it on is the slap breakdown in "Power of Equality".
"Sir Psycho Sexy" is an original Mutron III with dying batteries in it.
The Distortion on "Around the World" is the ODB-3 live, but in the studio I think he may have used a Proco Rat, as that pedal also makes an appearance in the instructional vid.
