Cool idea. I wonder if they'll license their enclosures to other pedal builders or if they have circuit ideas beyond the standard clones.

It's definitely a cool Kickstarter project, but it's not really a new idea, Maestro sold the Total Foot Control series (made by Moog) in the 70's:

Maestro MFZ-1 Fuzz
Maestro Total Foot Control (TFC) series

Ah beat me to it, DiscoFreq.
Do you know if those actually kicked off financially?

I don't know, they're not very common, but not very rare either, a bit like most Maestro pedals. It was the last series of Maestro pedals, the competition with the (small) Japanese pedals probably killed them.

The size of the FLEXeFX pedals is better

It's a great idea as long as you don't have any pedals next to it.

2 exp pedals and a tap tempo could be neat if its line 6 m9 - m13 compatible

^This is a pretty good idea for any utility builder, regardless of enclosure concept. Big foot-friendly knobs for 2 expression outputs and a momentary tap switch for TT control.

Back on topic... the FLEXeFX look and feel seems like a winner. All depends on what they do inside though. Afterall, it has to sound good first.

That was exactly my first thought when I saw these!

Yes!

I've been trying to figure out how to do that myself

Any clue where they get the control wheels?

Moody Sound uses big knobs and side mounted pots on the Lo|Fat
