Flipper Generic (Yellow) Album Bass Tone
 

Not sure if this is the right place. I'm pretty new to effects, but I've always really liked the chunky, distorted tone of Will Shatter/Bruce Loose from the classic SF sludge punk band Flipper.

Any ideas?

mostly sounds like a muff. awesome record, their second one was cool also.

Flipper fan here as well.

My advice: get an Ampeg V-4B and turn it up. Voila. You're there.
