Floor Pod....I am looking for good tones not effects.

What do people think???...I am looking for some good tones... amp models etc...not so much effects as I don´t use them much.

Also something good for live.... What do you guy´s think in comparison to the ZOOM and the BOSS equivalents????

I have a zoom multi effects pedal with a bunch of amp simulators
i dont know if thats what you mean, but as far as i can tell they work half decent

i dont know how close they are to specifix amps
i havent rly compared
but they sound alright

i dont know if i would suggest that pedal JUST for that
but yeah

For the money, I would guide you to a Zoom B2 or B2.1u*. It's smaller, and has very similar capabilities. I do think the POD has more amp models and the like, but it is huger and mo' 'spensive without being that much better. Go with the B2.1u if your using it as a DI or like to record via USB.

I found the POD bass amp modeling to suck ***, but YMMV and such. If you do a search you can prolly find the reasons why.
