Foam!

Does anyone know where I can get some of that egg carton shaped foam? You know, the one with the ridges in it? My GT-6B is velcroed down, but if I leave the case in the upright position too long, the velcro detaches itself from the pedal. The velcro doesn't stick to the pedal, but sticks to itself just fine. I was thinking some foam on the top of my case would help.

Check fabric stores and upholstery supply shops.

Or, if you don't have access to those, they have egg-carton-type pillows. I've been sleeping on one for fifteen years.

When I encountered a similar problem, my solution was to glue the velcro to the pedal.

You can get a twin sized sheet of that stuff from Wal-Mart for under 10 bucks in the bedding section and cut it to size.

I got some of that foam in 1'x1' squares from the Container Store. Some hardware stores should also have it.
