Seems like this device could be found from a third party manufacturer for less than $33, no? I remember trying two other 9V adapters and they didn't work with it.....

Why not just buy a One Spot. $30 and it will power ABS pedals and many, many others.

aww so it is going to take a $30+ commitment to power this pedal without batteries

it's funny that makes me lean closer to just selling the EBS pedal

do all brand pedals not work without a name brand adapter/one spot?

99% of all pedals run off the same power rating, which is 9vdc, center negative. As long as it has those specs, it should work fine. The brand doesn't matter at all. Every company says that you have to use their own power supply, but that's a load of crap.

EBS pedals use standard power supplies and connectors.
I see nothing to complain about.

You gonna sell all your pedals, because EBS is no different than any other manufacturer. The 1 spot was recommended because it comes with a daisy chain and can power a whole pile of pedals simultaneously and it is quiet.

My EBS MultiComp has worked perfectly with Tech 21, Danelectro and 1-Spot power supplies and I consider the Tech 21 and Danelectro to be quite generic third party power supplies. Funny though they are more silent than my 1-Spot which causes a little grounding buzz if I'm not in contact with my bass. Not sure if it is due to the switching mode power supply on the 1-Spot or the non-isolated design. Also my portable digital recorder isn't compatible with the 1-Spot because there is clearly an audible ticking noise when it is powered with the 1-Spot.

I recent got one of the Danelectro 9v DA-1 supplies for $8, including shipping.
