Fried my Boss DM-2 analog delay

Apparently my Boss DM-2 analog delay, which I bought new back in the 80's, has finally found its way to that great pedal board in the sky.

ie: its fried. Won't take power either by wall jack or 9v. Shoot. Nuts. Darn. Also, now what?

Is it worth getting it fixed or should I just replace it? I only use it as a very mild delay in songs where I want to achieve an acoustic upright-like effect. If so, any recommendations on who fixes them?

Also and separately from the original question, would I be better served, should I just get a decent compressor for that effect?

The Boss DM2/3 is a classic pedal. If it were mine, I'd have it repaired.

As much as I want to tell you it is worthless and to replace it and send it to me, these things sell for decent money. As mentioned, they will only get rarer and more expensive. Get it fixed.
