Done some searching, done some reading. This one doesn't have its own thread. So here one be.
Anyone care to share any experiences with this here thingy? I'm looking for something completely whacked, but in a good way. A good, bad sort of way.
The only other one that seems interesting is the Moog, but my last experience with Moog made me want to punch cats (lousy bypass). That and the Rastop, but it seems those pedals are still a little untested in these waters. The Z.Vex Ringtone has always looked freakin' amazing, but I know wouldn't be very useful to me in the long run.
So I'm definitely leaning toward the Frostwave, and I plan on order ing one later today unless someone convinces me not to.

I read in that latest Ashdown thread that someone thought that not being able to move the knobs with your foot as a good feature, and I was horrified.

I've spent the last 30 minutes playing hammer-on chords with my Zon through In-A, and then my P run through a phaser and evelope filter, as played with my free hand / free foot / whatever available, through In-B to trigger the modulation. I feel like Michael Manring but sound 1/50th as talented and 578 times noisier.
This thing is freakin' genius. Soundclips and a review are both a long way off, I haven't even read the manual yet. I just hope I can produce something of artistic value, as quantified by even half as much, as compared to the fun I'm having right now.

When I bought a Funk-A-Duck, I thought maybe I should have gotten a Blue Ringer instead. After I sold it, I was sure that I should have.
I'm looking forward to some clipage. |

The reason I said it was good is because in a live situation I have my pedals set up exactly how I want them so I get the the results and no unwanted "surprises". Other than that I have no problem with knobs being foot-accessable.
Oh, also I'm loving the clips...the drum machine one expecially.

If it sticks around, I'm curious to see how it gets used once you get all snuggly with it. |

Cool.

With this one could split the bass signal, pitch shift it and run that into the carrier-in. Which is pretty neat.
