I picked one up yesterday and returned it today. I wanted to like it but it just wasn't versitile enough for me. I know it isn't intended as a high gain or overdrive unit but at most settings it barely achieves unity with the bypassed signal. (fresh batteries, 9v power supply) For me there were only one or two "sweet spots" in the entire range of adjustment, and nothing else seemed really usable. However, these things are really subjective, like buying a tie or a pair of shoes so it may be great for someone else. |
