fulltone bass drive - problem running with 18V

I've been running my bass drive mosfet with an 18v power supply for ages with no problems.

I recently started experiencing some mild buzzy noise which increased with volume. Didn't effect the tone but it's a bit annoying, kind of background fizz.

I gave the pedal a clean out, no issues. Now after testing it with a 9v supply, it seems like the power supply is the problem. Does this my 18v supply is bust? Or is there something else it could be?

Have you noticed a loss of low end when you engage the bass-drive?

Not really, sounds pretty much the same but with an bit of background noise.

Have you tried a different 18v power supply?w

only have 1, think ill approach the place i got the supply from and see if i can switch it for a fresh one

If the output of the supply has started 'wobbling', then it may cause a noisy pedal. I would try a different supply.
