Which Fuzz is better?

I have been looking recently to buy a fuzz pedal. I have narrowed it down to two, the Bass Big Muff and the modern Russian Big Muff. I was wondering which one is better. Thanks.

As a Big Muff and "pedals that go FFFFFFFFFFFFF" connoisseur, I suggest you pay the extra buck and go with the Bass Big Muff, you wont regret it. ;D

Haven't played the Bass Big Muff, but I use and really like the modern Russian Big Muff.

Conveniently, grygrx at bassfuzz.com has done a review of both of them! You should go check them out and decided which one is for you. But trying them out in person is always a better way to judge.

they do different things

BBM has dry-blend and bass boost modes, in addition to the normal mode. the russian just doesn't

so there is no clear-cut winner, as compared to say a comparison between the US and russian big muffs
