Fuzz/Clean blend set up for live?

Sign in to disble this ad
Other than buying a fuzz with a blend knob, is there anyway I can split my signal, run one side through a fuzz and still have a clean signal to blend together with it?

I just did some studio work where I used a B:assmaster and a Tri-Logic for distortion running one clean signal at the same time through an Avalon DI.

Im trying to achieve this live, anyone know of an easy way?

check out barge concepts, they have a few pedals that will allow you to blend your clean signal with whatever you place in the effects loop of the pedal.

how many inputs do you have on your amp? mine had two so i bought the Bass Big Muff. it has a "dry" out in addition to the effect out so i run two cables from the BBM and into the two inputs on my head. then i use the volume on the BBM to "blend" the signals sounds great to me..

also this is a cheap fix that might work for you:

2X RadioShack Gold Series Mono-to-Mono Y-Adapter -$4.99 each

Y adapter X out of your bass. two cables. cable A goes from y adapter X to the fuzz and then to y adapter Z. cable B goes from y adapter X to y adapter Z which is plugged into your head input.
