A fuzz effect I wish existed...

The sound I have in my head is of a slow growly fuzz... like the clipped signal of a note an octave down on every other waveform.

I would really want this to be trackable down to a low B at least. Not so worried about reproducing the low end of an octaved note as much as the slow fuzzy artifact signal from that note.

I say trackable as if it would require synthesizing an octave signal, but I wonder if there are other ways to achieve something like this without going that route.

I'd be interested to hear from electronics gurus or pedal builders or perhaps this has already been done and someone can enlighten me. Anyway, thanks for reading my insane confused ramblings.

an octave pedal with a distortion pedal following it?
But u would need something with adjustable bottom end, treble, blend and distortion level.
Maybe a digitech bass overdrive or bad monkey?
