FUZZ pedal that works for both stoner/heavy rock and funky stuff???

A muff paired with a synth pedal or envelope filter would work. Looking to an EHX Bass Big Muff since it has a dry out, blending, and a bass boost. It's lower gain, but can do stoner stuff and seems flexible enough for other types of music.

The new Tech 21 Red Ripper has a vowel type feeling to some of the settings, so it could swing to both genres. I haven't played it, but from the video, it looks like it's worth a look.

BBM is the obvious fuzz as far as versatility is concerned.

+1 to ehx Bass Big Muff. An all-around great fuzz that is not a compromise at all. It is IDEAL for stoner stuff and tames down for funky fuzz just perfectly.

Nothing bumps like the Black Russian Big Muff and an envelope filter. IMO of course.
