Just spending some time with these two, pending doing a full review on bassfuzz. I got fooling around recording and decided I'd do a blind fuzz battle to see who wins. Fuzz 1 - Woolly Mammoth Fuzz 2 - Brown Dog
Winner: Woolly Mammoth 35-15!

I think the Brown Dog can get close to the ZVex, but I have yet to play a fuzz that does exactly what the Mammoth does. But as you point out, that's pretty much all it does.
