FuzzBattle: TLSF vs Zoom UF

Sign in to disble this ad
Posted the other one, and still have a ton of time to kill. I got fooling around recording and decided I'd do a blind fuzz battle to see who wins.

Fuzz 1 - Zoom Ultra Fuzz (UF-1)
Fuzz 2 - TLSF

TLSF Wins : 21 - 7

Oh, this one got me! I listened to the first clip and thought I knew for sure which one it was, but then I listened to the second clip and realized I was probably wrong on that first impression.

The end of clip 1 gave it away for me.

Both industrial sounding fuzzes that wouldn't work for me (at least right now), but I like the sound of both of them.

Still, if I had to choose, I'd take #2.

I double checked to make sure I didn't do something dumb by accident, but I can assure you they are not.

i'd be most curious about the bottom feeder but too bad you don't have a maxon or a qtron or something

i'd REALLY like to play with one of these superfuzz type pedals and an EBS wah

Fuzz 2 seemed angrier and less hollow on low settings

This thread makes me sad, I want but cannot afford a TLSF

Sounds great though.
