i just got the coolest idea, but dont have the pedals to do it myself so i thought i would throw it out for everyone to try who can.

My idea is to have an fx loop where one loop has a reverb set to 100% wet followed by a fuzz. Then you blend it with your original signal.

I have a feeling this will give a sweet result. I was thinking about organs and phase shifters and this idea just came to me lol.

Does sound like a cool idea but for organ like sounds you will need an octave pedal like the MicroPOG

I've done this. It isn't as great as you'd think -- the delay from the reverb being 100% wet sucks if you want to play anything relatively fast, but still using the set up. Also, the fuzz is very 'soft'/not punchy or defined. It all just sort of comes off as noise behind your clean bass signal.

That said, I love running a 40% mix reverb into a gated fuzz. It keeps the gate open, giving you huge sustain.

aww thats kind of a let down, but what i had suspected.

what kind of noise did it make anyway? like would it be good for like ambient silversun pickups noise or is it just noise.
