...Just when I thought my wallet was safe.

Glad to hear that you're back in business again after that long hiatus! I look forward to the cool effects you've been tinkering with.

Thanks fellas!
News coming this weekend.
Video next week.
Sound clips in a few weeks.

Things will be slow with a two year old monster tearing up the house and another tearing up my wife's insides (due in November), but it'll be worth it!

The admins do name changes in bundles, every 2-4 weeks they do them all at once. It makes sense, really.

Rratajski, the curiosity has been nagging me for a while now... is your avatar a picture of you? Did you lose a hand?

I don't know how you could solder with one hand. It's hard enough with two hands.

I tape the iron to my arm and go to town.

Long story short is that a friend of a friend (who I became friends with) was born with a birth defect where his arm and hand never formed. He calls the unformed fingers his "noobins". Friends of ours had photoshop wars and placed his noobin on our arms or other things that look like his arm. It was a gas... I found one of the photos that my friend made of me and made it my avatar. Also note the creepy mustache in the photo and the cut off shirt. Those two things are not photoshopped.

not to derail a thread but 2 are 10x harder to take care of than 1 but 100x more satisfying. I'm a stay at home dad with a 2yr and a 1yr old. nothing is better than the feeling of watching your oldest try and care of the youngest. congrats dude.

Not a derail, dude. Children are effects, they just can't run off 18V.
Thanks man!

You have some interesting things going on there. A pair of LED's that don't seem to be far enough apart to both be used as external indicators, plus the single pole switch is intriguing. Dual channel?

If they did ... they'd have an OFF switch.
