This is my first Fuzzrocious pedal, and so far I'm very impressed. I mentioned in a previous post I was borrowing a Pro Co Rat, today I A/B'd them. Through either a Zoom B3 with cans, or My Fender Rumble 15, The Rat Tail keeps the bottom end intact, whereas The Rat losses huge amounts of low end. I actually like the low-end loss when soloed at home, but when I tried The Rat in a band setting last week, it just evaporated in the mix, I was totally lost without any low-end.
The RT is much more versatile than The Rat, I can get many more sounds out of the RT. So far I'm liking having just a bit of hair on signal as opposed to a full-out roar. I'm actually not sure where I'm going to fit this in, in both my bands I usually use either slight OD or lots of fuzz, this kind of sits in the middle of that. But I will fit in in somewhere, it sound too good not to! I'm really looking forward to trying it in a band setting.
I'm really impressed with the construction of the pedal as well, feels and looks solid. I think there are going to be more Fuzzrocious pedals in coming my way in the future!
(sorry Photobucket is being a pain, I can't edit the photo for whatever reason) |

Perfect for me. I love using the tremolo pulse with it, sounds incredible! Great job Ryan, thanks! |

| | | | Does the Terrordactyl have controls for the fuzz section, such as tone and gain, or are they universal? Also are those descreet wet and dry controls or volume with a blend? I am also wondering if an indepent blend control for the fuzz section alone would be a good alternative to the noisey fuzz bypass footswitch on the 1st terror v2 video.
