They'll all stack super well, and I personally recommend having them in one enclosure because of how close the footswitches are to one-another. I can turn my DD off and OSD on (or vice-versa) with one stomp! |

| | | | So I recently got a gray stache. Out of the 10 or so fuzz pedals I own, this quickly rocketed to the the top of the list. This thing is now my favorite fuzz (perhaps tied with the iron ether oxide). The feedback loop is especially killer! Really great for getting a doom/stoner vibe. Really glad I bought it.
I like the feedback loop so much, I almost think it would have been better to get a latching switch instead of a momentary one. Pretty killer either way, though. |

Pretty killer either way, though. | I use the osc mod on my Stache as boost to accentuate parts/ solos and its bomb! Its swells up the volume subtley and then deflates when I take my foot off. i like it more than latching cuz there is'nt an abrubt shift in volume. Ry's mods are killer, nothing makes a bass part stick out like a tweaked edge to the tone. |

So theoretically, I could get a Dark Driving and a Grey Stache---together?

I`m a huge fan of Ryan`s work( 5 out of 11 pedals on my board are his) and GAS for all of his creations(Ram the ManParts,I`m looking at you) but I`m kind of at a loss when it comes to the BDPG.
Can you fine Gents describe what it does? I want to just blindly buy one and put it last on my board, but I don`t know why!

Our complaint with most preamps is that they are generally glorified EQs and not many have any "dirt" on tap. With that in mind, the BDPG is not your ordinary preamp...With a pregain/drive section (left knob), the user can go from a touch of drive to a full-bore doomy grind. The volume knob (middle) regulates your volume, duh. The tone knob (right) dials in your tone with a tone stack picked by me for the "best" sound. The tone section is capable of pulling dubby/reggae/no treble tones fully clockwise, nasty metal/grind tone fully counter-clockwise, and everything else in between making for one VERSATILE preamp. It even sounds great with a dirt/boost in front of it!
It takes the tone of your bass and/or pedals into new territory. It doesn't just boost sub/bass (it doesn't boost subs at all - need an octave down for that or be tuned to like low-low E), it can clank too. With a little bit of breakup, you can sweeten yourself in the band mix. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
