I`m a huge fan of Ryan`s work( 5 out of 11 pedals on my board are his) and GAS for all of his creations(Ram the ManParts,I`m looking at you) but I`m kind of at a loss when it comes to the BDPG.
Can you fine Gents describe what it does? I want to just blindly buy one and put it last on my board, but I don`t know why! | To add to what Ryan has already said, it is just a pedal you don't think is useful until you try it and then it is like the holy grail of your board as it turns every pedal into a god like machine. I have had so many compliments on my tone since getting one and it just keeps coming my way.

The one thing that's holding me back is that I'd be swapping out my Agro, which I've only had for about three weeks...I can't decide if I really want (need?) to make the switch, or if I'm just overcome with gas.
Anyone had both, and care to explain why they went with the RT?
EDIT: Ok, the Rat Tail is on its way via a trade, so I'll just A/B them myself...

I am very interested in the Ram The Manparts though. how different is it, sound wise, from the OSD Ry?

Been a dizzy couple of weeks, pedal-wise, around here. Looking forward to seeing how the Kaeden works for me, and it may end up going to Danny for an etch job.

Kaeden #2 is some of the little guy's finest work! Let me know if it doesn't work out, down the line. I'd really like to get my hands on one and find out how it pushes a Grey Stache and other fuzz pedals, in comparison to the OSD. I was eyeing that thing up in the classifieds something fierce, but just bought a new amp and couldn't justify the funds.
Speaking of which, picked up a Sunn Beta Bass combo yesterday. Simply put, it is a beast. Hands down, the loudest amp I've ever played through. My Fuzzrociouses absolutely destroy coming out of this thing. Even with the gain maxed on the amp, they don't get drowned out, and each has its place in adding very distinct character to the crushing overdrive tone available from the Beta. That just hasn't been my experience with other amps at high-gain. I'm really loving the BDPG in particular, for adding a loose breakup to the very bottom of the amp's fuzz-like distortion.

I am very interested in the Ram The Manparts though. how different is it, sound wise, from the OSD Ry? | RTM is more "transparent" in voicing and more natural, whereas the OSD feels more tubey. Add on the voltage sag and the gain boost... |

What's your band to draw such a crowd?
and let me know if you head East towards Amarillo. Unfortunately I'm stuck in this dump for the time being.

Unfortunately I'm stuck in this dump for the time being. | My band is Marsupious, I think that pic is from when we opened for Buckethead, just under 600 heads. We sold a lot of merch but nobody meets Buckethead out of costume, he lives in his own world. We like Texas so we'll hit you up when the time comes. |

Sadly, Amarillo isn't much of a music scene outside the local cover band (lots of work in that relm). Feel free to shoot me a PM if you're passing through the area though. That is, if I'm still here. I'm about due for a move.
