Then they came back as zombies, and those were killed off. Then came the re-animated gouls from the dead zombies. They were killed as well with all the fuzz talk. Now their ghosts are haunting us. We'll kill those fairly soon.
Also, check out http://bassfuzz.com/ . Excellent site and very informative.
EDIT: Bongo beat me to it. |

As for the actual question, no, the Messdrive Hybrid +, like the regular Messdrive, don't lose low end. At least not that I could hear. |

The Messdrive Hybrid+ does not lose any low end, I can guarantee that. With the tone knob all the way down it even loses a bit of top end. But with a little tone rolled, it's a very deep and bass focused fuzz with a nice midrange presence as well. On grygrx site, the bass fuzz one (I can't recomend it enough), he has a whole bunch of clips and a video that pretty much nails the tone you can get.
There a whole bunch of bass specific, and other not bass specific, yet still very bass friendly, out there. You just have to find the one that suits you best. |

I just got my Wren&Cuff Pickle Pie B today tho, and that thing is currently kicking ass. The Clean blend makes it. But im pretty sure even without a clean blend you would have a sweet bass fuzz.
both Os from Electronix and Matt from Wren&Cuff are really cool guys and use this forum. They're very helpful. Once I upload my pickle pie clip, ill post a link here.

I can only say things like "LOL" , "ROLF", "That's wacked", "You hit me hard", "Hit me baby one more time", etc on occasion |

wish i had recorded my Hybrid+ to compare.
Personally I think the Hybrid+ was fatter and warmer, but the Pickle Pie B has the capacity for more aggressiveness (ie treble). The PP-b is very muff-like, while the Hybrid was less so, but still a very generic-sounding fuzz, and the Vintage/Modern switch does have its uses in finding your perfect tone.
both are excellent fuzzes, but the Hybrid+ is cheaper and smaller but doesnt offer a clean blend and i dont know if it'll cut through thick fuzzed out guitars as much as the PP-b, but its definitely worth the cash, I only sold mine coz I had a vintage Green Sovtek Muff, and while I cant really tell if that was better or not, I felt I couldnt get rid of it for the sake of a 'new' pedal.

note: even on minimum Saturation, the PP-B is still pretty distorted.
the first tone is clean then at minimum saturation with the Shape at minimum

c'mon, Roger Sadowsky is on here quite a bit, as is a gentleman from Genz-Benz, and a couple other folks from other companies. and i'm pretty sure they all chime in occasionally with opinions, facts, comments, and the like, but none cross the line. c'mon Os, you can do it too! cave in to peer pressure! everyone's doing it!
p.s. the Gemini got sent today, yeah?
