FX25B MODIFICATION

I was checking out what I could do as far getting this pedal modified and the only thing I could find was this statement.

"To mod replace R5 (20K) with 6K2 (this is the Wah input)
and R39 (10K) with 3k (this is the dry sound to blend pot)"

Does this sound legit?

Will this do anything as far as the volume drop?

Does anyone know what the price of these parts may be?

About 4 cents. In fact, you'll struggle to buy just one of each of those resistors and you might have to buy a mixed bag for a few bucks.

Is it legit? Well, where did you find it? What is the mod supposed to do? Who wrote it? etc etc etc.
