i tried it on bass, imho it's a bit useless to use the fuzz (both modes) because there are no sustain at all. i used to use the gain booster mode a lot, but not the fuzz

Really???? as the one I've got has plenty of sustain. Personally I really like this fuzz its got huge bottom end and sounds very industrial sounding, basically for me it cops that recent Nine Inch Nails fuzz tone.

It is quite OTT but very controllable but if I was looking for a vintage sounding fuzz I'd look else where but I'm glad I have one available to me when ever I need it.

I borrowed one from a friend which I enjoyed to its fullest and then bought one and didn't really use it much, so I sold it.
You can pick them up for cheap on EBay so I'd say try one out. The gain boost can also be useful.
