G Major and SVT Classic

I just got an svt classic american made from 91 or 92 and it sounds great! I currently use a gmajor2 and am having trouble getting my effects to be in my mix.

I noticed this first on my old amp. I bought it used and it worked great but then i reset the parameters to better program my behringer FCB1010 foot pedal and now theres no effects in my signal at all! i seem to have set it up right (exactly as i was doing before) but as i switch through the presets on the gmajor i never actually get any delay or something in my signal. Can anyone please explain to me why this may be going on??

Also, the preamp out and in on the SVT classic works as the effects loop correct? Because i am running the gmajor through that currently and getting no sound at all when the in and out jacks are plugged in..what the heck??

Just to clarify, i bought the Gmajor used and it worked great with any and all amps, once the gmajor was recalibrated
all effects in my mix were lost.

I don't think that you can use the Pre out / Power amp in as an effects loop. Check the owner's manual (it's on Ampegs website if you don't have it).
