G2.1u effects pedal

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi
Now a couple of weeks ago I went out and brought a g2.1u effects pedal. But when I got home I found out there was one for bass but the shop won't let me change it. I don't have enough money to get the bass version, so would I be ok with the one I have for now?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thankyou

You can get some pretty good retro type sounds out of the Zoom G1 & G2 pedals so you should be fine. You will be missing some of the more bass tuned features on the B versions like EQ and bass amp models. There are some sounds I prefer in the G1x that I have over the B2.1u for some things.

FWIW A$$hole move on the part of the music shop.

I found a lot of the distortion/ amp models and the wahs to be tough to dial in on bass. Not flat out unusable, but not ideal either. Other than that it is a serviceable unit.

I concur with bassbrad about the shops attitude.
