Thumbs down Game over for my Boss PS-3

Sign in to disble this ad
Thought Id give you a quick listen to this....

My PS-3 has delayed its last delay Basically, the PS-3 loses its marbles and then starts to stutter and crackle out... The weird thing is that the pitch shift / delay modes still work fine Only the delay settings (settings 1-3) have this problem.

Sample

As you can hear from the quick sample. Its pretty much knackered

Needless to say, if you happen to see a PS-3 going cheap on Ebay with an Aussie seller, steer clear people!

That's one sick puppy you have there.

Don't let it suffer too much and put it to sleep.

(btw: I like that surfrock/bit-organ kinda sound. )

I've had my fun with it.

Is there anyway to fix it besides replacing the entire chipboard?

Doesn't sound like a problem to me.

I've had mine since March and I don't think I've touched the delays since that first week. . .

Plus around the 20 second mark of your clip, the warbles just give it that melodrama tension music sound.

Yes, the animal kingdom is hilarious.

Sounds like a power issue perhaps..?

Dunno if its a power issue...? I get no other issues with my other boss pedals and the 1 spot type adapter that I use.

You have me thinking though now. I'll try it with another power supply just in case.

hmm, my hm-2 doesnt like the power supply i have at the moment, doesnt power it fully or something, the led gets really dim and the pedal loses all bass and volume and sounds really really really really weird. but thats my power supply issue lol.
