Just received an e-mail from a business in Canada named AXE. AXE carries BYOC pedals including prebuilts.

The newsletter was highlighting some of their prebuilt BYOC pedals with custom paint. THESE LOOK VERY COOL!! One of the paint jobs is done by Laura Bennett who (according to the newsletter) paints pedals for Zvex. The pedals also seem reasonably priced.

One of the pedals is a 5 knob compressor that looks interesting but nobody seems to have used one.

Anyway, I'm very tempted to try one these pedals they are so beautiful.

Enjoy!

It might not be as bad as you think. The melty look is usually done over water, all as one sheet, if that makes sense. I once saw this program on hunting gear, and they were demonstrating the technique for getting that camouflage look on the stock of the rifles, and it was this same technique.

From the newsletter....not sure what "numerous" means.

Each pedal enclosure was given numerous layers of clearcoat to protect the artwork.

Hope the compressor sucks because if it's good I'll need to find a way to print some $$ to buy a Bennett graphic
