Thumbs up

Sounds great.

Unfortunately the only way I could make good use of a wah is by doing what you did in the video- sitting down the whole time.

I love the sound of that Wah, but I can't get them to answer my e-mails about how to order one.

The US distributor never answered my e-mail either!

You could order one from the UK dealer? Or phone them...

I just ordered one from the US distributor (TSI in Nashville). I should have it in a couple of days. I will report back when I get it.

Wowee has arrived!!!

Fed ex showed up bright and early this morning. Ordered wednesday at lunch, arrived saturday morning, not bad !!! The gal I talked with at TSI was also willing to deal on the price a bit, always a good thing!

Initial feelings after hooking it up through my puter speakers are as follows,....very well made, fairly small footprint for a wah, controls are simple and functional, not a lot of variance in the different settings, but overall nicely thought out and executed.

I just sold my EBS wah one and a Dunlop wah,...the G-Lab, to my ears, sounds MUCH better! My tone stays pretty well intact, and the wah effect seems like it will cut through the mix pretty well without a big loss of my low end.

I did notice some volume drop when I kicked it on by itself, not a ton, but enough to make me frown a bit. When I hooked it up in my pedal chain though with slight compression, that problem seem to be solved. Since i tend to keep my compressor on at all times, it shouldn't be an issue.

Will have a better idea of just how it performs after gigging with it next wednesday. Computer speakers definitely aren't like running through an actual bass rig. From what I'm hearing so far though, I think I'm going to be very pleased. Will post a full review after the next gig.

Okay, got to try the wowee out on the job last night. Other than stepping on it a few times too many and pizzing off the guitard,...... gotta say, it's a hell of a nice wah! Kept my low end intact, cut through the mix well, unlike my old WahOne, and in general, performed like a champ. Nice, wet, buttery sound to it, funky as can be.

I think that maybe I've purchased my last wah pedal. BTW, TSI will "deal" on the price, got mine for $209.00 shipped. Highly recommended to anyone who's been as frustrated as I have in the search for a killer bass wah.
