Hey!

Since i found this maestro fuzz i got into the clones. I'm from Chile so i canīt test pedals but you tube has been somewhat helpful.

I was decided on ordering de germanium version of th B:ASSMASTER but Josh, a very cool guy talked to me about his preference for the silicon version.

I've been hearing more and more sound samples and i think he has convinced me.

The thing is i found this clip:

Demo of GGG Brassmaster Clone Bass Distortion Pedal - YouTube

I think that pedal sound awesome but i don't know nothing about building pedals.

Anyone could tell me if malekkoīs pedal sounds similar with some tweaking?

After all, they are clones of the same pedal

thx

It's similar, but the Malekko Silicon is definitely more saturated, "chewy", and abrasive. Based on the settings in the demo, the Malekko Silicon seems to have more gain on tap, to boot.

I have the GGG Brassmaster and it is a pretty accurate clone but it is a difficult build not for the beginner.
The Malekko B:assMaster uses some better components and has a stringent build quality, I do wish they'd make a compact version.
