Yeeeeeoooooo. Right so I have played a number of octave pedals and recently purchased myself an Aguilar octamizer (tidy wee job she is too!) but I really want to get the best out of my octave sound (I am aware of tracking issues below A and I'm not really worried about playing that low anyway).
I believe it's the first overtone of your string being played that the pedal 'reads' to produce the octave? What is the best way to 'promote' this overtone and get the cleanest, least 'bubbly' octave sound? A low-pass filter? A compressor? Anybody with any experience of this problem?
