I had Ryan at Fuzzrocious build me a "Green Stache" which is a GGG tuned muff. I have to say I like it alot. It is a pretty brutal fuzz to say the least. It keeps the low end but still manages to pierce through. I haven't used it in the full band setting yet but we have practice wed so ill find out then. It is a very wellcomed replacement to my modded boss FZ-3. Ryan was cool to deal with to and of course it came with the crazy paint job that he so kindly changed to suit my doom/sludge metal needs |

What settings are you using it at, as in where do you have the middle and right knobs set at? |

I was just messin around with it though. Once we practice Ill let you know how I set it for good. Ill tell you this though sounds killer trough my 10x10 2x18 rig |

GGG Muff:
LED - 1k resistor - 390k resistor - 100µF Cap - 3x 15k resistors.
Bluebeard:
LED - 4.7k Resistor - 220µF cap - 4.7k resistor - 390k resistor - 15k resistor - 100µF cap - 2x 15k resistor.
hope this helps

IMHO, tweaking something to how you want to use it works out better in the long run...
So, for example, if you want better bass response, change some caps...or if you want to tone down the high gain grit, add some germaniums...It works out to be less time than waiting for a Bluebeard that you're going to end up being pissed off about waiting for or selling after using it for 3 months...Build on your own and tweak! It's more fun and rewarding... |

My signal is going as follows:
Deluxe Jazz> MXR Classic Distortion>Whirlwind ABY>
Channel 1> Fuzzrocious Green Stache> Peavey Musician> Peavey Booster 800> Sunn 415> Peavey 1820
Channel 2> Fuzzrocious Octavus> Morley PWF> Earth Revival head> Traynor 810
Man o man did this shine. Awesome tone and no low end loss at all. I am using the MXR as an overdrive till my Bogden gets here (should be today ). I bought one of my g*****ist Sunn 415's and used that instead of my Earth 118. Brutal sound was all that can describe it. Had the MXR set for some light OD and when I kicked the stache on it was definately βΘИΞКЯŲŜĦÏИĞ®! Got to say I am very pleased and had my g*****ist wantin to try it out. Awesome pedal.
EDIT: The settings I am using it at is the Volume (DOOM) around 1 o'clock, the Tone around 9-10 o'clock, and the Sustain (Sludge) around 3 o'clock.
