Gig Tonight with no amp

I decided to be lazy and not bring an amp to a gig tonight. Instead I am taking a Radial Pro DI and a Sansamp Blonde will this combination work for the gig? I have it set to be a very clean setting with the character low.

Rather depend on how good the PA is, won't it?

Better hope your monitors don't go out.

Guess I'm just a little too paranoid yet about going up on a stage with nothing more than a DI box.

You'll be fine as long as there is a decent PA and monitors.

I'm also gigging tonight with my pedal board straight to the PA. It is VERY liberating. As long as you have a buffering source (your DI) and something to warm up the tone a bit (the Sansamp), you are fine. I have a BDDI. I'd gig DI any time with it.

So is my full Mesa stack.

Gtf0 soundguy, I got this...

At our gig last night I had to loan out my M9 to an opening band. I was like well, don't you have like a DI? And he's like yeah but it's in my amp bag. Am like well that's not much of a backup plan, then is it chet?? :cop:

ALL depends on the PA. If you know the club/PA, then this can be a very cool thing - nearly zero schlepping!
