GK-3B / GR-20

Anyone used a Roland GK-3B pup for anything? I got this setup in a trade for a bass this weekend, haven't had a lot of time to experiment with it yet but so far I've been quite impressed with the tracking. Obviously the latency on low notes is quite poor but I'm happy to play everything up an octave like I do for analogue octavers.

Anyone put any time in with Roland's pitch-to-MIDI stuff? Any advice?

Same as any pitch tracking effect. Play cleanly, play higher up the neck for better tracking and overall performance. Usually the brain requires proper configuration of the pickup details for optimum performance, check the GR-20 manual.
