Good, cheap rackmount tuner?

Sign in to disble this ad
I recently got a Mesa M2000 and a rack for it, along with a Power Conditioner. I figured it'd be smarter to put a rack in there rather than unplugging to use a tuner all the time. Any good rackmount tuner recommendations that don't cost an armload?

Almost everyone has stopped making rack tuners. Korg and Sabine with the two decent ones that were reasonably priced.

At this point, I think I would probably sniff around ebay and buy a used one.

I am having the same problem. Funny I was just going to start the same post. Went and got a gk rack mount head and am on my way now to pickup a skb case and still looking for a tuner. Stoped at gc yesterday and they are not even stocking rack mount tuners. I was thinking that this was the more professional way of putting together a proper rig. What is up with this. Is there anyone out ther who still uses rack mount tuners and rigs? Hoping to find a sub $100 tuner. Berringer makes one for $79.99 sold thru gc.com but no idea if it is accurate or of any quality. Something about berringer that scares me a little. Hope this thread brings some results.

Yeah, I planned on getting a used rackmount tuner. The reviews are the Berringer didn't seem good. I figured Korg or Sabine, but wondered what models were good and if any weren't.

So why is it that no one is using the rack mount tuners? Is there a better way?

I don't even lug a rack around anymore, and I think maybe more and more are going that route.

There a bunch of nice pedal tuners on the market.
